The film chronicles how, under the impact of AI, an older college student reflects on the future during a thousand-mile cycling journey—from the sincere, precious final days of graduation, to bidding farewell to his hometown, to being tempered on dull, monotonous roads and embracing exhaustion in torrential rain. Through an anatomy of “giving up halfway,” he reflects on the creator’s arrogance and, in the most bedraggled yet sincere manner, completes this abortive pilgrimage and farewell to youth.
