What Happens to a Film Once Its Festival Year Ends
Nothing about a film's page disappears when the festival moves on.
A film's page, crew credits, Top Nominee or winner marks and festival history stay on the site. There is no expiry date on a film's public record once its festival year has passed, because a searchable, permanent film and crew archive is part of what makes a festival a serious institution rather than a one-off event.
What changes is what is featured. The homepage and current Official Selection foreground the current year, while past years remain browsable through their own festival pages.
This matters most for crew members building a long-term profile. A fourth credit across several festival years tells a very different story from a single isolated one, and that only works if earlier history is kept.
