A lonely rickshaw driver, who barely gets enough passengers to make a living, leads a quiet and isolated life. One day, he meets a pregnant woman who works as a tailor. Her husband has abandoned her, leaving her to face her pregnancy and life alone.
Their brief encounters slowly turn into a quiet companionship. One day, when the woman's water breaks and she desperately needs to reach the hospital, she finds that there is no one around to help her. The rickshaw driver comes to her aid and takes her to the hospital.
