Synopsis

Getting treatment comes with a cost. This cost can be overwhelming and bring immense financial burden and strain to a person and the entire family at times.
Today's reality is that not everyone is covered with health insurance and social security covering the cost of medical treatment around the world.
A harsh reality we came across while doing our research is that depending on what part of the world you are in, the first thing that you are asked when you walk into a private hospital is how much medical insurance cover you have and based on your answer multiple add ons are added to your bill. So you are billed and treated according to how much your medical insurance can cover.
The other option is govt. hospitals which are overcrowded and often you have to wait endlessly for your turn.
When we came across information about the 2 hospitals run by Shree Sai baba Sansthan trust Shirdi. One of the hospitals is a general speciality hospital where the treatment starts with a registration of Rs50 which is about half USD.
We got curious and researched further and discovered and documented how the 2 hospitals are funded by donations offered at the Shree Sai baba temple in Shirdi.
Coming across a medical setup which provides end to end medical treatment and covers either free or on a cost to cost basis came as a great revelation to us.
We found that unlike a social security cover which gives medical coverage to only the citizens of a state or country.
The treatment offered here is open to any human being who walks through the gates.
As we interacted with the doctors and the CEO of the Sansthan we came across how a large sum of money is used to treat people who need it.
It was an eye opening experience and an evolving story worth sharing with the world so was born the idea of creating Daan Se Jeevan Daan tak
Which translates to From donation to the gift of life.
It is our endeavour to take this story far and wide so that more people can benefit from this medical opportunity and more individuals and organizations are motivated to emulate such models of taking healthcare to those who need them.

Daan Se Jeevan Daan Tak explores how devotees' donations at Shirdi are transformed into life-saving healthcare through the hospitals run by the Shree Sai Baba Sansthan Trust. Through real stories of patients, doctors, and caregivers, the film showcases free and affordable treatment, advanced medical facilities, and compassionate service, revealing how faith becomes healing, hope, and a gift of life for thousands.
