Synopsis
Finn is a carefree bottlenose dolphin who fled the US for Canada, driven north by a changing climate (both physically and politically.) Exhausted by global chaos, he just wants to tune it out, catch waves, and play Cod of Duty. But when plastic pollution, overfishing, and climate change catch up to him, displacing his new community and threatening his family, a switch flips. Watching his home crumble, he realizes that if he doesn’t act, who will? He can't stay silent, but he's paralyzed by a devastating doubt: he’s just an average dude...
Realizing he can’t do it alone, Finn shakes off his lazy habits and rallies a ragtag crew of marine mates. Together, they embark on an emotionally charged adventure across wounded ecosystems, discovering the ocean’s beauty, its diverse species, and its ancient stories. Along the way, they inspire those around them and highlight brilliant grassroots solutions already championed by local ocean allies.
Finn isn't a flawless hero; his true superpower is simply having the courage to take the first step. By relying on his friends and learning to lead with compassion, this silly, goofy, and nonchalant dolphin transforms into a charming, charismatic leader who sparks a massive movement, proving to the world that every wave of change starts with a single ripple of courage!
