Synopsis
One day, a self-conscious elephant, encouraged by a cynical flea living in his ear, escapes from the circus. During his journey, he befriends a dog who invites him home. After misinterpreting a television programme about mammoths, the elephant falls into despair, convinced that he is the last of his kind. However, when a catastrophic flood threatens the town, he finds the courage within himself to act. He rescues his canine friend and saves the town by breaking through a massive logjam. Swept away by the raging current, he reaches the open sea and sets off into the unknown. This painterly 2D animation shows that finding one’s place in the world is a journey worth taking, and that true strength emerges when we overcome our fears.
