The top prize of the National section
The Golden Maple honours the best of Canadian children’s content. It is the final step of a path that begins in the provinces and territories and ends on the national stage.
How it is decided
Canadian films are first seen by provincial and territorial panels, then move to National Competition. The Academy names the Top Nominees in each category and votes for the winner.
